Netcells Cryogenics is a privately owned South African laboratory and cryogenic
facility, based in Midrand, Johannesburg. Netcells' laboratory adheres to the strictest
quality control standards and is currently undergoing international accreditation
with the American Association of Blood Banks.

Cord Blood & Tissue Stem Cells
Netcells offer parents the opportunity of storing their baby's stem cells. Once the blood and/or tissue is collected from the umbilical cord and placenta at birth, these
precious stem cells are couriered to our laboratory where they are then extracted, tested, cryogenically frozen and stored
for potential future use. In the case of a life-threatening disease, the stem cells
can possibly be used to treat your child or a close family member.

Peripheral Blood Stem Cells
Netcells provides processing, flow cytometry testing and cryogenic storage of peripheral
blood stem cells for leading oncologists in South Africa in the treatment of their
patients.
Netcells has successfully thawed the peripheral blood stem cells of over 120 patients, which have been successfully transplanted.

Egg Cryo-Preservation
Netcells offers women the opportunity in cryo-preserving their eggs.
Egg freezing is a breakthrough technology that allows women to freeze and store
their eggs until a pregnancy is desired, at which time the eggs are thawed, fertilized
and transferred to the uterus as embryos.

Sperm Cryo-Preservation
Netcells offers men the opportunity in cryo-preserving their sperm.
When required, these sperm will be thawed and used to fertilise the egg through
artificial insemination (AI) or in vitro fertilisaiton (IVF).
